Be discriminating about which people and media you allow to teach your children.
-

-
Make a commitment to personally disciple your children.
-
Build deep relationships by spending lots of time with your children.
-
Read the Bible daily to your children and as the Holy Spirit leads, teach them.
-
Ask lots of questions when you are with your children. Let them articulate what they believe.
-
Sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with your children.
-
Pray with and for your children, for neighbors, for family, for the lost, and for other believers.
-
Obey Deuteronomy 6; teach them about God when they arise, when they are in the car, when they are in your home, and when they go to bed.
-
Teach your children to teach; give them opportunities to teach the family.
-
Look for opportunities to talk about the Lord as you are going places.
-
Have family worship/devotions each day at home, in the car, at the park, wherever you go.
-
Tell your children about the goodness of the Lord and give personal testimonies.
-
Point out answers to prayers and how the Lord is working in and around you.
-
Show your children by personal example of how to Disciple Like Jesus; take them when you minister to others, pray for others, take meals to others, visit hospitals and nursing homes, etc.
-
Don't send your children out alone; like Jesus, always send them out with a trusted adult. Don't rely on others to decide who is trustworthy; you must know them!
-
Be aware of modern day "wolves," they are numerous. Take proactive measures to protect your children from these wolves. The best way to protect your children is to be with them wherever they go.
