Disciple Like Jesus is a "for loss" ministry that receives financial support through Christian Parenting Books, LLC, which is also a "for loss" business. Our expenses exceed our revenues, because we are sharing this vision with the body of Christ. Revenues for this ministry come from charitable contributions, book royalties, and conferences. We trust the Lord to meet and supply for our every need. He is always faithful! Even more than financial support, we covet your prayers for our ministry and for families throughout the world. 

Disciple Like Jesus ministry is not a registered 501c3 ministry; we have been led of the Lord to not seek that status at this time. If you make a contribution to this ministry, you may not be able to claim your contribution on your income taxes. In 2009 Christian Parenting Books, LLC/Disciple Like Jesus lost approximately $15,000; we praise the Lord for giving us the resources to make this investment into the Kingdom!

Our Passion

Like Nehemiah, our hearts are burdened about the “broken walls” in our culture that are stealing the eternal life of millions of children from Christian families. Various researchers have indicated that we are losing between 75 and 94 percent of our children during their late teens and they are not returning.  According to Barna Research, only 1 in 200 young adults have a biblical worldview.

Our 2010 Vision

Jesus Christ showed us how to make disciples for three years and then commanded us to do the same.  We are encouraging parents to Disciple Like Jesus! The goal of our ministry is to redefine the practical meaning of the word “Discipleship” from an occasional activity to a lifestyle that was modeled by Jesus Christ.

·         Provide free resources through our website, conferences, and social media.
·         When resources are sold, we provide them at no charge to needy families.

Book Translation to Chinese

We have an opportunity to take our ministry to the church in China. We need to raise $7,000 to translate Disciple Like Jesus For Parents into the Chinese language.

We are amazed at how God is meeting our needs! He provides just enough financial resources to allow us to continue this debt-free ministry. We want you to know that we take your support very seriously. We believe that every penny must be wisely and strategically used to bring practical help and a message of hope to the church of Jesus Christ. We want to encourage the church that there is hope in following the example of Jesus Christ! Therefore, we strive to do the very best we possibly can, to be good stewards of our resources, and make every penny stretch, to accomplish the most with what we have been entrusted. A voluntary board of directors and an outside CPA firm are engaged in order to ensure the integrity of this ministry.
